The 2007 Pregnancy Babies & Children's Expo enjoyed amazing support with more than 19,000 visitors attending over the 3 days.
A record number of exhibitors were on show and we received lots of positive feedback from mums, dads and grandparents.
Visitors to the Expo were able to get a taste of the latest in cutting edge design in children’s products from around the world. From baby baths, beds, potty training innovations to the latest in health and safety products, the Pregnancy Babies & Children’s Expo had everything from the big brand names to unique cleverly designed children’s products.
Our visitors also made the most of the expert advice from parenting and health professionals as well as support groups.
Dorothy was a huge hit once again with many fans bringing gifts of real roses ~ always a delight to see! Dorothy was so popular we decided to bring her back again in 2008 – it is hard to imagine an alternative that will please as many of our younger visitors as she does!
This year we will be expanding the size of the Parents Room and looking carefully at ways to help keep improving the Expo experience.

We asked if we could take a photo too and they were more than happy to oblige.
One lady was due in 2 days and the others were due in September, October and November respectively! They have their own mothers group ready to go!

About the Sydney Showground Dome
The venue makes a superb backdrop for the Pregnancy Babies & Children’s Expo.
Without doubt it is the most striking modern exhibition centre in Australia featuring magnificent laminated timber spans, a truly state of the art exhibition centre. All
situated in tranquil park-like surroundings.
The venue is fully air conditioned, and facilities are both modern and clean.
How to Get there
Better still it is conveniently located in the heart of greater Sydney. Not near CBD traffic and parking woes. Simply follow the road signs to Sydney Olympic Park (or if you have an old street directory Homebush Bay). Or catch a train to Sydney Olympic Park. Buses and a ferry also service the venue.

For your convenience SOPA will provide people mover trains to and from the carparks every day.
Don’t fall into the trap of parking in the 2 hour free parking bays - one minute over and you can expect to get a ticket! Two hours is just not long enough to do our Expo properly.
