Frequently asked questions
Is there a room for feeding/changing my baby?
Yes. You’ll find the Pigeon Mag Mag Parenting Room. It’s a quiet, private spot where you can feed and change your baby. It has facilities to warm bottles or food, as well as for washing bottles. There is also a qualified childcare nurse in attendance to answer any questions you might have.

Please note, food regulations prohibit warming bottles in the catering area.

What if my child is lost?
Report your child to the service/information desk immediately, which is at the entrance to Expo. Our staff are trained to locate any lost children promptly. Security is active in ensuring that no unaccompanied infants are allowed to leave Expo.

Can I get a pass out?
Yes. Pass out stamps are available from the door staff if you need to leave Expo for a short time, such as taking a bulky purchase to your car.

Do you run seminars?
No. Experience has shown us that the quality of our exhibitors is so good that visitors would rather spend time talking to them and asking questions than being tucked away in a seminar room.

Can I bring our own food?
Yes. We understand that children can be fussy eaters, or you could have special dietary concerns. We’re happy for you to bring along a packed lunch and snacks. However, health regulations mean the catering area cannot heat, cool or otherwise prepare any meals brought in. At all our expos, we make sure there are some child-friendly selections available for purchase.

Can I get cash out at Expo?
Yes. At most Expos you will find ATM machines outside the Expo, and pass outs are available if you forgot to grab some cash on the way in. Where there are no ATMs, we make sure there are EFTPOS facilities at the entrance. You’ll also find that many exhibitors have EFTPOS facilities for purchases.

Can I purchase at Expo?
Yes and no. The Pregnancy Babies & Children's Expo is a true exhibition in the original sense, meaning it is primarily about information on what’s best for you, your pregnancy, baby or child, so you’ll often find items are for ‘display purposes only’. In these cases, you can go to a retailer to purchase them, safe in the knowledge that you’re armed with all the right information.

Some exhibitors do sell at Expo, especially those still trying to establish their retail networks. But many other exhibitors don’t have products – they’re there to explain the support or service they can provide.
