What to expect
The Brisbane 2008 Pregnancy Babies & Children's Expo was attended by over 17,000 enthusiastic visitors over the 3 days. This included parents and parents-to-be, grandparents, carers and of course babies and children.

The size of the Expo was expanded to improve visitor comfort including a larger Parents Room. The event also featured a record number of exhibitors providing expert and up to the minute information on parenting issues and the latest product trends.

The Brisbane 2008 Pregnancy Babies & Children’s Expo brought together all the brands including the newest on the market to ensure our visitors enjoyed the best possible variety.

Another key ingredient of the Expo was the practical and friendly advice from parenting and health professionals as well as support groups.

Dorothy the Dinosaur proved once again that she is the most popular dinosaur ever! Our young visitors were entertained and delighted with her stage show ~ so many happy smiling faces! We have been informed that Dorothy is taking a break from regular touring in 2009, which means the Expo will be offering new stage entertainment ~ check our website for an update on this.

We are looking forward to 2009 and as always will be endeavouring to find ways to improve the Expo experience.

About the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre
The Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre is the home of exhibitions in Brisbane with its futuristic design and modern features. It is located in South Brisbane within an easy walk of ever popular South Bank.

How to Get there
Access to the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre (BCEC) couldn’t be easier.
Car parking is available immediately underneath with access off Merivale Street or
Russell Street.

The South Brisbane train station is only a few hundred metres away. To plan your trip
click here and type in “Brisbane Convention Centre” as your destination. Once you arrive at the station turn right into Grey Street and take the ramp up to the plaza level of the BCEC the lifts down to the main Foyer, then follow the signage to our Expo.
