Yes, I gathered a variety of information and made purchases. The most significant purchase was an ergo baby carrier which has solved an ongoing issue for me – being able to carry my 18 month OR new born in the same carrier at different times depending on my need and where I am etc!
Kylie and Andrea from Nic-Nac Nappy Wrap – really fun product and friendly people supporting small business. Also, the girls at the Ergo Baby Carrier stand and Hampton Swim School were all friendly and informative.
Fantastic time for my 18 month old in animal farm, plaster painting area, games and gymnastics areas!

At the PBC Expo there were plenty of places to stop & feed/change my baby and my 3 year old loved the Dorothy Show & the Baby Animal Farm. It was great to see so many innovative new products, many of which have been designed by some very clever mums!
I had questions about the new government maternity payments. It was great to have my questions answered & given information to take home. I also had a chat to the people form SIDS & Kids and as a result bought a new "Grobag" for my daughter. I also got some great specials on baby products from Curash, Cherub Baby and Johnson & Johnson.
The expo really is a one stop shop of everything that is out there. We had such a great day on the Saturday (when the photo was taken) that we went back the following day with my 3 year old son!!!

This is my 3rd year going to the expo and my child is nearly 4. Each year I focus on the different needs of my child as he grows.
One thing I did notice was that there appeared to be more free activities for the kids which helped my sanity & amused the kids, which meant we could stay a bit longer.
I really enjoyed seeing Koolaman Designs – I’ve been checking out their website for a couple of years. I was finally able to see and touch before I purchased.
I would definitely recommend the expo - it’s good for all different aged children. I just wished I had of heard about it a few years ago when I was first pregnant.

I found it very helpful to find the best deals among similar products.
For us, the best info came from the midwives. We had had some questions about our little man's development and interacting with them was fantastic. We absolutely loved the parent's rooms. We weighed our little man and asked a few questions to the midwife. Trying Woollies nappies was also a good opportunity - think I will buy Woolies nappies nest time!
