Pregnancy Babies & Children’s Expo best in the country
The Pregnancy Babies & Children’s Expo was awarded the inaugural Exhibition and Event Association of Australasia’s trophy for Best Consumer Event (up to 10,000 sq metres) for its expo at the Sydney Showgrounds.

The 2006 EEAA Awards for Excellence were announced at a special presentation dinner at Crown Casino in Melbourne.

Pregnancy Babies & Children’s Expo management team were thrilled with winning the inaugural award.

This award recognises the dedication and hard work of our people over the past 17 years to make the PBC Expo stand out as an event for consumers, exhibitors and sponsors alike.

“To be acknowledged as the best of the best is a great achievement and something of which we can all be extremely proud,” he said.

“We’re committed to excellence and look forward to continuing to refine our offering to make our Expos stronger every year in Sydney as well as Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane and Melbourne,” Mr Rocke said.

EEAA General Manager Kevin Doherty said the high calibre of entries demonstrated the outstanding exhibition and event standards within Australasia.

“Australasian exhibitions and events are world class, and Awards programs such as this can only help to further foster excellence and increase awareness and appreciation for the industry,” he said.

Winners can now display the EEAA Awards for Excellence logo on their marketing materials as an indication of merit. They will also receive numerous benefits including promotional opportunities in association with the EEAA; greater brand recognition within the industry and from key external stakeholders; and demonstrating to staff, suppliers, clients, exhibitors and visitors a commitment to excellence.
